The Fortress of Solitude?
For those that have not heard of this before, or those that have but don't really know what it is; it is a Superman reference.
I am an all around fan of the superhero genre, but I am dedicated fan of Superman. In the Superman mythos, the "Fortress of Solitude" serves as a headquarters for Superman. It has many forms, but the most common is giant crystal castle located in the Arctic somewhere. There have been several origins along the years, but my favorite come from the TV Series Smallville, where the castle is the last embodiment of Superman's heritage and home planet Krypton. The Fortress is a place reserved only for Superman where he can retreat, collect his thoughts, and take a break from be the greatest Superhero the world has ever known.
